QA Tester

Focused Consulting (FCI) is looking for a QA Tester to fulfill its needs by providing consulting services in the insurance sector.

This position is well-suited for a highly skilled QA Tester with 5+ years of experience in Workday HR QA testing. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in automation and scripting, as well as experience working with business stakeholders on multiple priorities simultaneously. This is a critical role that will require excellent attention to detail, strong communication skills, and the ability to work collaboratively with other teams.

Job Responsibilities

  • Conduct thorough testing of the Workday HR system to ensure that it meets the company's requirements and specifications

  • Develop and execute test cases and scripts using automation tools, as well as manual testing when necessary

  • Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand their priorities and needs, and incorporate feedback into testing plans

  • Perform weekly and monthly compliance calls for audit changes to the system

  • Coordinate and support weekly releases of bug fixes and enhancements to production

  • Work with other teams to troubleshoot and resolve issues that arise during testing or production

  • Document and report on test results, including defects and issues that arise during testing

  • Continuously monitor and improve the QA process to ensure that it remains effective and efficient

Minimum Requirements/Qualifications

  • 5+ years of experience in QA testing, with a focus on Workday HR systems

  • Experience with automation and scripting tools, such as Selenium, HP UFT, or similar is a plus

  • Strong analytical skills, with the ability to identify and troubleshoot complex issues

  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with other teams and stakeholders

  • Strong attention to detail and the ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously

  • Experience working in an Agile development environment is a plus

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field is preferred.
