Service Delivery Lead

Focused Consulting (FCI) is looking for a Service Delivery Lead to fulfill its needs in the Insurance industry.

Job Purpose

Team Leadership and Management:

  • Leads the planning, execution, and delivery of service increments and releases, coordinating across multiple Agile teams

  • Facilitates the definition of service goals with the Service Lead and the identification of key outcomes, ensuring a clear understanding of expectations

  • Acts as a liaison between the service teams and senior management, ensuring effective communication and alignment on service progress, impediments, and successes

  • Main point of contact for Product managers

  • Facilitate service-level meetings, including service increment planning, reviews, and retrospectives

  • Proactively identifies, assesses, and mitigates risks that could impact service objectives or delivery timelines

  • Support Team Leads to insert bi-weekly accomplishments in Confluence*

  • Report on all known risks/issues

  • Attends daily scrum calls across all Agile teams within service area (S-1 calls)

Quarterly Planning

  • Supports the facilitation of quarterly PI Planning with the Service Lead

  • Ensure all Service area commitments are captured in the PI Planning Deck each quarter

  • Host quarterly retrospectives ahead of PI planning

  • Pre-plan for PI Planning for service area in conjunction with the Agile Delivery Lead and Service Lead

Continuous Improvement

  • Regularly review ADO estate and identify missing tasks or other entries that require attention

  • Continuously watch for and propose enhancements to areas of improvement that can ease the burden for team members or improve a process

  • Stay updated with all projects that impact technology within the organization
